ROSS McCRORIE is the latest Portsmouth player to produce a positive test result for coronavirus.
The on-loan Rangers midfielder becomes the fifth Pompey star to produce a positive result following the club testing all first-team players and backroom staff last week.
Portsmouth made the decision on mass testing following a number of high-profile footballing positive results including Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta – Pompey played the Gunners in an FA Cup tie on March 2.
McCrorie, 22, is at present showing little in the way of symptoms but, like James Bolton, Andy Cannon, Haji Mnoga and Sean Raggett, is self-isolating in accordance with government advice.
The club are now waiting on the results of one more test, which is for a member of the backroom team.
